People Who Criticize Buhari By Comparing Him To Jonathan Are Worse – Omojuwa

Social commentator, Joshua Omojuwa, has expressed that those who criticize President Muhammadu Buhari by quoting ex President Goodluck Jonathan as being a better leader, are worse than those who attack the critics of the present regime of Buhari.

He made the remark while reacting to a post by Nigerian musician, Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, known professionally as Ruggedman, comparing the freedom enjoyed under the regime of ex president Jonathan to the present situation.

This comes in the wake of a series of crackdown on protesters, culminating to arrest of leader of revolution now leader, Omoyele Sowore.

“You will remember me for total freedom you enjoyed during my government” -Tweeted Ruggedman with former President Jonathan’s image.

Omojuwa reacted, stating Jonathan was not saint.

“People who criticise Buhari by flashing this guy are as bad as those who attack others for criticising Buhari, if not worse. The internet is replete with his record, things that happened less than 5 years ago but we have adults making it look like we lost some saint!”

Omojuwa, who is also an author, you’d recall, was one of the leading critics of the regime of ex president Goodluck Jonathan.
