Zambia Records Same Number Of COVID Deaths In Two Consecutive Days

Zambia in the last 24hrs records 143 new cases of COVID-19, with 6 deaths (5 Ndola and 1 Chingola), MTSRIP. This brings the cumulative totals to 13466 cases, 12,007 recoveries and 312 deaths.

The previous record number of deaths from COVID-19 on September 11 also stood at 6.

Active cases stand at 1147.

This news is coming after Zambia’s President Lungu officially announced the reopening of all schools, and partial reopening of bars and clubs yesterday at the resumption of Zambia’s parliament.

Minister of General Education today in a live broadcast goes further to announce resumption dates for exam classes and non-exam classes.
