Sex Workers Beat Up Evangelist For Preaching
According to a report by the Nigerian Defender, group of prostitutes in the Ejigbo Axis of Lagos reportedly beat up an evangelist who visited their brothel to preach to them and their male customers.
The commercial sex workers had warned the cleric on several occasions to stay away from their premises, but he wouldn’t heed.
They consequently assaulted him on the day he came again to preach to them.

Students Abducted In School While Preparing For Exam
Gunmen who allegedly raided houses in Damba-Kasaya community in Chikun LGA of Kaduna state, have reportedly kidnapped some students of Prince Academy who were receiving lessons for their JSS3 exams.
Bawa Wakili, a resident of the community who spoke to TheCable said the gunmen came “in a large number like they always do” and were shooting sporadically throughout the operation.
According to an eye witness “They abducted many people in the village, then they went to Prince Academy and abducted many of the students who were receiving lessons for their JSS3 exams.”
LAUTECH Student Who Was Filmed Acting Strange Reacts
The LAUTECH student who went viral for acting strange in a clip Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state, after she jumped down from a bike, has spoken out after the video went viral.
The woman who acted really weird causing people to say she ”ran mad” has come out to say she is fine.
Commenting with her Instagram account, @tgold8489, she said she didn’t run mad and told everyone that she’s “perfectly fine and sound in health”.

In a video making the rounds, the woman is seen giving incoherent answers to questions from the people who gathered to watch her with interest. . She mentioned that she's from Ogbomosho and that she's a student of LAUTECH. . She seemed confused as she looked around and said she doesn't know anyone around there. She also couldn't tell where her bag was. . At one point, she goes to a man and kneels before him as he grabs her head, as though trying to cast out a demon. . The woman also said something about being raped. . Reactions to the video suggest the woman must be high on drugs, not mentally unstable.

Nigerian Lady In Dubai Jailed For 2 Years For Robbing Tourist
An unidentified Nigerian lady in Dubai has been sentenced to 2 years in prison for robbing a tourist in the United Arabs Emirates.
According to Khaleej Times, the Nigerian was sentenced on Monday, August 24th.
She was also accused of illegal imprisonment, and issuing threats to kill or inflict harm on others.

Over 1,100 Villagers Killed By Bandits In Northern Nigeria In 2020
Human rights watchdog group, Amnesty International published a report on Monday, August 24 which claims that at least 1,126 people in rural villages in northern Nigeria were killed by bandits between January and July 2020.
The report also accused Nigerian authorities of leaving rural communities at the mercy of the gunmen.
The region has for months been terrorized by bandits who invade communities to abduct for ransom, and kill residents, while also destroying property.

UPDATE: Governor El-Rufai’s Aide Involved In Accident On Abuja-Kaduna Highway
According to an updated report by Sahara Reporters “Hafiz Bayero, a special adviser to Kaduna State governor, Nasir el-Rufai, was on Monday involved in an accident on the Kaduna-Abuja Highway.
“Details of the accident were still sketchy at the time of this report but a photograph of the accident scene obtained by Sahara Reporters showed the extent of damage.
People around the scene managed to bring Bayero out of his vehicle with number plate 12E-04KD.”
